Patricia Joy Bartlett

March 17, 1948 - January 5, 2018

Patricia Joy Bartlett was born to Richard and Edith Snook on March 17, 1948 in Wheatland, Wyoming. She lost her battle to cancer on January 5, 2018.  She was the youngest daughter of her 5 siblings. Patti married the love of her life Richard, and started their life in Riverton, Wyoming where they were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Cody Leigh and Heather Marie.

In 1985 the family relocated to Blanding for an anticipated 2-year job, but Blanding became their home for life.  Patti became friends and touched the hearts of the community in her works at The White Mesa Mill, Twin Rocks, and as the City Clerk for the City of Blanding. She very much enjoyed camping and fishing with Rich and spending time with the dear friends they found in this town.  Family and friends were a foundation for the happiness of Patti, she held them so dear to her heart. This was seen by the many folks of the community that would see her walking with her dear friends after she was able to retire.  Her family and friends will feel the love she held for them forever.

Patti had a smile that would brighten anyone's day, it was infectious and beautiful. She was beautiful, inside and out and always had a positive light to all. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, loving mother and caring friend. She was very loved and will be greatly missed by all.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years Rich, daughters Cody(Roland) Fein of Colorado Springs, CO, and Heather (Andy) Mills of Salt Lake City, UT, grandson Hunter Fein, sisters Betty Jenkins and Lila Driscoll, and brother Dale Snook.  Preceded in death by Richard and Edith Snook, brother Richard and sister Darlene Montgomery.  Services were held January 11th in Blanding with internment at the Blanding Cemetery.

I'm so privileged to have known this wonderful, beautiful woman who lit up a room wherever she was. I would just look into those beautiful crystal blue eyes and see pure sweetness. I'm so happy you see the face of GOD now and I hope you will be one of those welcoming me when I come home. Thank you for giving us your legacy of your daughters who carry on your wonderful vibe, they are a gift to the world from you. Prayers for comfort to all of the family and may the Lord wrap His loving arms around you and help you through this hurt. Just know that she is looking down from Heaven with her new Heavenly body watching over you. I love you all so very much.

Love, Lisa Lima

Patti was a ray of sunshine in the City office. I was grateful for her happy smile and positive attitude while I was on the Blanding City Council. She was willing to help in any way, and always so happy. I saw her at the store last year and could tell she was hurting, but she was her usual upbeat, smiling self. I never ever heard her complain. She was so special to me. A friend forever. I love her dearly. Sending my best wishes to Rich and all the family.

We are sad to hear of Patti not being with us here in Blanding. We talked with her before Christmas at the store and both gave her a big hug, She is such a nice beautiful person. I loved working with her at the City office. She was smart, kind and very fun to be around. We wish only the best for Rich and the Girls. She loved you all and was very proud of you and loved to share your accomplishments.
